Book of Condolence

In a period of one week, two Members of Parliament have died.

This is quite a sad moment to the families of the deceased, Members of Parliament and staff of the Parliament, Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, political parties they were representing and all Tanzanians.

I, on my own behalf and on of the National Assembly, I would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and all those who have been touched by these deaths. Our beloved late MPs will be greatly remembered for the work they did during their life.

Hon. Regia Mtema (MP) and Hon. Jeremiah Sumari, there are no words that can well express our sadness. May the Almighty GOD rest your souls in eternal peace.

You will be dearly missed!

Hon. Anne Makinda (MP)
Speaker of the National Assembly
